Please box your radio up to withstand anything!!! I would suggest putting it in a plastic bag. Then get a strong cardboard box.
PLEASE, use bubble wrap or shipping peanuts. I have seen pushbuttons and control stems broken off due to poor shipping. PLEASE, use the USPS box #7, you may have to order it online at USPS.com but its free!!!!! It is highly recommended that the radio has at least 2 inches of peanuts all the way around it.
